1975 - Registered Car Shine, self employed car detailer. Concentrated on prestige car detailing and restorations out of small premises in South Yarra.
1976 - Expanded Work shop, continued detailing & Restorations.
1977 - Moved to larger premises in South Melbourne, employed two staff.

1978 - Registered Car Shine Pty Ltd. Relocated to larger premises in West Melbourne, expanded to the supply and fitment of electrical parts.

1979 - Ceased restoration work and employed Spray Painters to paint European body kits from leading European manufacturers (AMG, BBS, Lorinser, Zender).

1980 - Continued with painting and fitting b/kits, tendered and won a contract
to install mobile phones into prestige vehicles for Telecom.
1981 - Expanded staff members, employed 3 auto electricians to fit telephones.

1982 - We visited Automechanicka Parts and Accessory fair in Germany, with intention of supplying and fitment of aftermarket Accessories to prestige vehicles for private customers and dealers.
1983 - Had the knowledge and information for importing body kits and accessories and built up a reputation for the supply and fitment of quality aftermarket accessories.

1984 - Visited Automechanika Fair again in Germany for new ideas to keep up with current trends, models and expand the aftermarket business.
Continued fitting mobile phones for Telecom.
1985 - The business expanded again with the female side of the family joining the business, Mobile phones were allocated to private enterprise, we were appointed sellers of main brands of Mobile phones and obtaining product knowledge to offer all options together with expert fitting service.
1986 - 1988 - The business had expanded to approx 20 employees, detailing, painting and electrical installations.

1989 - Relocated to Spencer St for a street frontage and scaled down due to recession, Spencer was a main road frontage to encourage passing trade.
1990 - Recession set in, concentrated on survival.
1991 - Worked hard on getting volume with dealers and car companies.
1992 - Commenced the supply of wood interior kits to Holden Special Vehicles for the Holden Senator.

1993 - Built a Calibra (Show Car) for GMH, using special paint.
Went to the SEMA fair in Los Vegas for new ideas and new suppliers of wood interior kits, found Daytona Dash which enabled us to work close with the Mercedes and Audi dealers fitting real wood interior kits, cruise control and electric windows. Computers introduced into the business.

1994 - Integration of the showroom and workshop to an up market building in Elizabeth St, Melbourne. We also commenced supplying Volvo Australia with interior wood kits for the 850 Volvo.
Also built special VW Golfs, Audi A4's for the dealers.
Put proposal to company handling Raffles for St. John Ambulance, built special Mercedes with B/Kit, wheels, wood, chrome, exhausts for Raffle ticket sales

1995 - Compiled over several months presentation to AUDI Australia for O.E Supply of wood interiors. Built special BMW's for Raffle cars. |

1996 - Built the Course Cars, Medic Car and modified the Astras for GMH, which were used in the celebrity race at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Also did presentation of body kits for the new release Astra F for GMH. Commenced contract with GMH to build between 300-500 GSI Astra's. Continued building BMW Raffle cars.

1997 - Continued to build Astra GSI's, modified Course and Medic cars for Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix. Built a Cordobra for SEAT for the Melbourne Motor Show in March.
Purchased a second hand Mercedes W202 to do full Lorinser program and exhibit in Melbourne Motor Show. Also purchased a new Audi A4 to do full Zender program and showcase to Audi dealers.
Did presentation to Volvo Australia for wood interiors on models S40, S70. Produced presentation to Volvo Australia on Body Kits for S40/V40.

1998 - Supplied and fitted cruise controls on Audi A4's new model for the Audi dealers and continued to build special cars for showroom or individual customers.
Also continued with special projects for GMH and were approached by GMH to assist with the first Monaro prototype (paint & style) which was under full security.

1999 - Played a big part in the building of the Utster for GMH, also painted a customized Ute for the Footy Show. Customized and modified the Prime Ministers Holden Statesman for the 2000 Olympic games. Built a number of special Audi's for Audi's Australian Dealers. |

2000 - Supplied and fitted large sports brakes and retrimed leather on a Holden Caprice Project Car, Calais and Ute for GMH. Continued building special Audi's for Audi Dealers. |

2001 - Painted a custom ute Body and engine bay for GMH show car.
Started supplying and fitting interior Wood Kits for Audi Dealers.

2002 - Concentrated on obtaining interstate distributors. Created business in Perth for the redistribution of Car Shine Products in Western Australia.
Commenced supplying Lorinser and Zender packages. Supplied and fitted B/kits for second hand BMW dealer cars. The dealer was so impressed with the quality and service, they started to order kits for their own individual cars.

2003 - Commissioned by GMH in the restoration and rebuild of a one off GTRX classic show car. The car then got sent to GM's US Head Quarters.
Customised a Mercedes SL600 with a custom one of, Wald Body Kit.
Organized the supply of Suspension Kits to Volkswagen dealers.
Continued supplying spoilers to BMW dealers.

2004 - Supplied GMH and the Mercedes Benz dealers with Lorinser wheel and tyre packages and worked on selling chrome accessories to our distributors in volume. Continued to personalise high end European models to owners individual needs.

2005 - Early in the year we decided to leave our city premises and purchase our own building in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. This was a big move and one which has helped the business grow further. The new location in Tullamarine with ample of street parking which was a problem in the city area. We continue to supply the spoilers to the BMW Dealers, and personalising European cars, supplying Wheel and Tyre packages to GMH and Mercedes Benz dealers.
Completed a sports styling conversion for a Black RAV4 and secured an overseas client for the supply of our unique stainless steel personalized number plate frames. Company director went to the Essen Auto Show in Germany at the end of the year to liaise with suppliers and gather information on the latest trends in the automobile industry.

2006 - Another order from our overseas customer started the year of well. We continue to supply wheel and tyre packages, suspension kits, wood leather steering wheels, body kits and spoilers.
Have completed the custom build of a high performance supercharged UTE for one of our Mercedes Benz clients.
